Personality:

It was an unsaid fact that Satoru had idolized his cousin, Fusao Takahashi, a whole lot ever since they were children. And with that, Satoru's personality was built almost solely upon his cousin's example.

Quiet and welcoming, Satoru would always carry a small, but charming smile on his face. He would often say very little words, but what he would say always held a lot of meaning. He keeps his true emotions and intentions almost entirely hidden, but his willingness to help is extremely evident. His gentle and caring nature is something most people look up to and admittedly long for from time to time.

However, like Fusao, he never seemed to let anyone know that he is a pessimist at heart, carrying a little manipulative streak and criticizing nature. Behind his maternal instincts and calm demeanor is a fierce and seemingly violent attitude that refuses to submit to anyone or any form of threat and simply back down, especially when he sees his friends (or acquaintances) hurt. All this, however, he keeps to himself, as he prefers others to see him as someone everyone can rely on and look up to, rather than the gloomy child he once was.

History:
Takahashi Satoru is the only child of a young couple who owned a majestic but secluded house in Matsue city in Shimane prefecture. Since he was an only child, he was spoiled and he was almost always alone. As a child, he was the target for constant bullying, and they often labeled him as a "wimpy rich kid" who knew nothing but cry and hide in a corner.

Years later, after three of his relatives moved in to live with him and his parents, Satoru, with the guidance of his favorite, and at the same time, most hated cousin, learned how to stand up for himself. The process of learning, however wasn't that easy, as he was made to believe that feeding him with more pain and torment will make him tougher. Thus, he often suffered from Fusao's endless and painful reproaches and sometimes beatings far worse than those given to him by other boys his age and he was required to fight back in one way or another. When he had finally learned to defend himself, he had grown fond of his cousin, and at the same time, apprehensive, as he saw Fusao as someone whose strength didn't waver at all. However, it wasn't long till his attempts at self defense became more violence oriented, and he started getting into fist fights, just for the sake of using his fists on someone's face. Satoru, then, entered his rebellious phase at an early age, and was came to be known as a delinquent who never held back. During this rebellious phase, Satoru became the constant cause of his father's terrifying anger and was often submitted to strict disciplinary methods, ranging from violent confrontations from his father, to subtle pleads from his mother.

It took a lot to get him to straighten up and stop the violent acts, and when he did, he was resolved to follow his much idolized cousin's footsteps, much to his parent's concern. In the process of copying his cousin, he developed a mind like Fusao's, capable of producing maximum concentration, critical thinking and accurate observation and prediction, which gave him academic advantages. To keep him preoccupied, he also took up a number of various sports, although most of them were centered on fighting and martial arts. He had also picked up his cousin's habitual malicious scheming and secretive nature. Although he isn't as good as Fusao in hiding his motives, he had also worked on masking his thoughts with an unreadable smile that never seems to falter.

When Fusao moved to Aragusuku-Jima, to enter Tsunami Gakuen, Satoru also made it his goal to study in the same school, although by the time he arrived, Fusao had already graduated.

Additional Info:
- he is extremely lazy and would often whine about doing troublesome tasks
- he doesn't scream when watching horror movies, although he does cringe when watching disgusting parts at slasher movies

- he is an obsessed dog fan and he loves the big ones. He keeps a number of different breeds back home, but his favorites are a puppy salaskan malamute (which he named Nieve) and a large belgian sheepdog (named Ceniza). Both of them sleeps in his room, by his bed
- he never keeps his dogs on a leash. Even on walks. They are too well trained to run off recklessly
- he dreams of finding and marrying a mermaid. Even though it's only a joke, he says it seriously and people fall for it most of the time
- he has an IQ of 147, though he often lies and states that his is only 113
